We have two levels of washing:
Standard Wash: Eqyss Blanket Wash was no longer available at some point in 2010. So we made our own non-detergent blanket wash with a veterinary approved disinfectant. We wash your blanket or sheet by itself-We do not put more than one blanket in a machine. We always use cold water. Your blanket is then gentled tumbled in a dryer that is set at 100 degrees (less than the temperature of a blanket thrown over the fence.
Premium Wash: Our premium package includes a hand brushing to remove particulate matter, a deodorizing process and delousing just in case any critters crawled into your blanket while it was hanging around and all the standard components listed above. (2 hours per blanket)
Water Resistant Treatment: We use the Nikwax water resistant system. After washing, the blanket is soaked for 30 minutes. The Rug Proof permeates the blanket creating a water resistant barrier. The blanket is then rinsed and dried. It is particularly effective because it follows the “seams” for a stronger barrier against water penetration (Premium Wash suggested but not necessary). We guarantee that we will follow the recommended process by Nikwax. We cannot guarantee the quality of the water resistant treatment. Any substances that have been accidentally or purposfully added to the outer shell can interfer with the absorbtion of the Nikwax.
Repairs: Repairs are priced by hardware, materials and labor.
